Dewey Martin Lewis has over 16 years of experience in this industry with the business being in operation for the past 11 years. This is a significant milestone, for a one man operation; to not only sustain the business for this period, but to also grow the business into a competitive one.
B-BBEE Status – The turnover is below R10m and is 100% Black owned and qualifies as an Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME) – Level 1.
Our History
The business was initially a Car Sales operation and a tow truck was purchased to transport the cars that were purchased. The Towing business started bringing in more revenue from the Car Sales outlet hence the start of Durans Towing CC.
Whilst the operation is based in Pietermaritzburg, it covers the whole of KZN and will tow nationwide if the pickup or drop off destination is in KZN.
The business has grown into a competitive service provider for both the Corporate and Private Customer base. To facilitate the growth of the business, the operation moved premises from Allandale Drive to Willowton Road, in Pietermaritzburg.
